    Name five things you can see

    Just look around and name them, silently or out loud.

  2. 02

    Name four things you can touch

    Notice the texture of each one as you name it.

  3. 03

    Name three things you can hear

    Include sounds you might normally tune out.

  4. 04

    Name two things you can smell

    If nothing's obvious, notice the absence of smell.

  5. 05

    Name one thing you can taste

    Even just the inside of your own mouth counts.
